Berthold Puchta is to become the new head of "Global Automotive" at ESG
Berthold Puchta will assume responsibility for the global automotive business of ESG on 1 March 2015.
As of 1 March 2015, Berthold Puchta will be assuming responsibility for the global automotive business of ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH. His new area of responsibility as Executive Vice President of the Automotive Division of ESG includes the management of the Automotive Division in Germany as well as the role as a Member of the Board for the Automotive Division subsidiaries ESG Automotive Inc. in the United States, and ESG Automotive Electronics Co. Ltd. in China.
With the appointment of Mr Puchta, ESG was able to gain an experienced and internationally recognised charismatic leader from the automotive sector: Prior to joining ESG, he was General Manager Global Automotive, Industrial & Chemical Industries at CSC Solutions GmbH, where he was responsible for the worldwide optimisation of value chains (vertical manufacturing) for CSC's automotive customers, among others. Further career moves involved professional positions with an automotive OEM, as well as leadership positions with an internationally operating technology and consultancy company.
